Kindred Group expands its engagement with Caesars in Iowa

Kindred has made progress in its nationwide growth by entering Iowa, the gaming company's sixth state of operation.

With Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino, this arrangement also represents the group's second launch as a part of a multi-state cooperation with Caesars Entertainment that was struck last year.

The deal, which will be carried out through Kindred's premier Unibet brand, will last for ten years, with the possibility of two further five-year extensions.

According to the business, the timing of its launch with the beginning of the football season would place it in "a perfect position to seize the projected rise in demand."

Launch into Iowa after prior entries into New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Virginia; Arizona is scheduled to "go online shortly as Unibet's sixth state in the US." Also, the organization has restricted access to the market in California, Illinois, Ohio, and three other states.

According to Manuel Stan, EVP Kindred US, "We are really delighted to extend our Midwest presence through the multistate partnership with Caesars Interactive Entertainment and present a premier sports betting option to the Iowa clients."

"The enthusiasm for football in Iowa is unmatched, and we're sure we can provide a thrilling product just in time for the beginning of the football season.

"We are anticipating an increasing interest from returning customers as well as newly acquired customers," said the company. "This is due to Iowa's biggest rivalries between the two home college teams, the Cyclones and Hawkeyes, as well as the anticipation of its bordering state, Kansas City's journey to the Super Bowl."

Kindred continues, saying that it would do so "where market circumstances support a sustainable business strategy."
