Playtech launches its live service in the US through a Michigan studio
Playtech has announced the "latest milestone" in its evolving American road plan as it lifts the curtain on its first live casino studio in Michigan.
Playtech has obtained a long-term lease and clearance from the Michigan Gaming Control Board for the Southfield site after the US was identified as a significant area of promise earlier this month.
Playtech will be able to deliver integrated live content across retail and online channels, as well as across product verticals, thanks to the studio's integration of the group's technology and video capabilities from its flagship Riga studio.
The studio will feature custom spaces for operator dedicated tables and networked tables, with flexibility to develop and extend to support Playtech's nationwide expansion in addition to delivering "live igaming entertainment never seen before in the US market."
The location is commended for offering local job possibilities to the community in addition to supplying live entertainment and game show material to the developing online casino industry in Michigan.
Shimon Akad, chief operational officer of Playtech, said, "The new studio in Michigan is the first step in our US live growth as we strive to supply live studios in all regulated states."
Our Michigan studio is being built to be one of the most cutting-edge studios, targeted to the US market and showcasing the finest in innovation and entertainment.
"Playtech will be able to advance live igaming in the US thanks to the size of our technology and the range of our offering.
"At Playtech, we take great pleasure in being an integral part of all our communities, and as part of our development in the US, we are happy to be delivering job opportunities to local communities. It is more crucial than ever that we support our local businesses and communities since the consequences of the worldwide epidemic are still being felt in marketplaces throughout the world.
