SkillOnNet receives authorization to launch PlayUZU in Mexico
After gaining a license inside the country's regulated market, operator and online casino platform SkillOnNet launched its PlayUZU brand there.
PlayUZU is expanding to Mexico, where the online casino will introduce a fully localized version of its Spanish-speaking entity. Localized digital marketing initiatives, such as social media and influencer marketing, as well as an alleged "big budget" TV ad campaign, are being used to promote the expansion.
Maor Nutkevitch, head of corporate development at SkillOnNet, said, "We are excited to be making our debut in the Mexican market.
"In light of the success of our brands PlayUZU and Bacanaplay in Spanish and Portuguese, we are certain that we can gain a sizeable market share throughout Latin America.
Mexico is one of the most significant markets in the area, and we believe we can enter the fray with a disruptive creative and communication strategy spanning across above-the-line and digital performance led channels. We are confident that this strategy will quickly generate significant brand awareness.
PlayUZU has no wagering restrictions and features like OJOplus, which refunds money in real time on every wager, win or loss, just like its sister site PlayOJO in Europe.
With PlayUZU's success in Spain, SkillOnNet has turned its attention to the Spanish-speaking markets in Latin America. It will make sure that local payment options and the most enticing local games are all accessible from day one.
PlayUZU will launch a fully localized P2P bingo product in order to capitalize on the popularity of video bingo games in Mexico.
