Wazdan expands its market in the Czech Republic to continue its "important" business

As the games provider makes its debut in the regulated igaming market of the Czech Republic, Wazdan has strengthened its position in Europe.

According to the agreement, 46 games from the studio will be available to operators in the Czech Republic. These games include 9 Lions, Fortune Reels, Hot Slot: 777 Crown, Power of Gods: Hades, and Sun of Fortune.

Chief Commercial Officer of Wazdan, Andrzej Hyla, stated: "The Czech Republic is an interesting jurisdiction in the midst of Europe, and entering regulated markets is of crucial significance to our continuing expansion.

This year has seen a lot of market introductions for us throughout the world, demonstrating the breadth of our robust product line.

After its approvals in Bulgaria, Ontario, Michigan, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, Wazdan has now entered the market in seven different countries this year.

Since being licensed in 2017, the Czech iGaming business has grown steadily; according to data from the regulator, GGR is expected to reach €1 billion in 2022.

After a month that saw the studio sign an arrangement with Paf to improve its Spanish presence and merge its content with Alphawin, Wazdan's most recent moves continued a busy end of 2022 for the provider.
